Before I became a vegan my favourite meal was a burger with fries; didn’t matter where it came from, as long as there was a burger patty wrapped inside of a bun oozing out ketchup, lettuce and tomatoes I was all set to go.  For me this is comfort food at its finest, but it can be hard to come by sometimes for vegans.

That’s why the vegan in me was extremely excited to find that Vancouver was getting a vegan food cart serving up some mouthwatering items that I thought I’d never get to eat again.  Meals like a BBQ Onion Ring Cheese Burger, Cheesy Philly Sub with Grilled Mushrooms & Onions, or a BC Reuben gourmet sandwich are all there with, of course, my option of onion rings or fries on the side.

Some of those menu options at Loving Hut don’t scream out vegan or healthy, but that’s the point of the Loving Hut Vancouver Express Food Cart.  For more click here
